## Facebook Data Deletion Instructions

Touch Technology ("we", "us") operates the Touch Smart Messaging System ("the Service"). When a business uses the Service to connect its Facebook Page, and you send that Page a message on Facebook Messenger, we process a limited amount of your data on the business's behalf. This page explains what we store and how you can request its deletion.

## 1. What Facebook data we store

When you message a business's connected Facebook Page, we may store:

- Your **Page-Scoped ID (PSID)**, an anonymous identifier Facebook assigns to you for that specific Page. It is not your Facebook profile ID and cannot be used to identify you outside that Page.
- The **content of the messages** you send to the Page, so the business can read and reply to them in its inbox.
- Basic timestamps of when messages were received.

We do **not** collect your Facebook password, friends list, email, or profile data. The message data belongs to the business you contacted; we process it only to deliver the Service to that business.

## 2. How to request deletion

You can have your Messenger data removed in any of these ways:

### Option A: Remove the app on Facebook

Removing the business integration on Facebook revokes our access to your data for that Page:

- Open Facebook and go to **Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations** (facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools).
- Find the connected business/app and choose **Remove**.

### Option B: Ask the business directly

Because the conversation belongs to the business you messaged, you can ask that business to delete the conversation or disconnect its Page. If you are unsure who the business is, use Option C and we will route your request.

### Option C: Contact us to request deletion

Email [support@touchsms.africa](mailto:support@touchsms.africa) with the subject line **"Facebook Data Deletion"** and include:

- The **name of the Facebook Page** you messaged, and
- Your **PSID** if you know it, or enough detail (the Facebook name you used and the approximate date) for the business to locate your conversation.

We will verify the request with the relevant business and delete the associated messages and PSID.

## 3. What we delete

On a valid request we permanently delete the inbound messages tied to your PSID and remove the PSID from the business's contact records. Once deleted, the business can no longer message you through the Service, and the data cannot be recovered.

## 4. Timeframe

We action verified deletion requests within **30 days**. Some information may persist briefly in encrypted backups and is purged on the normal backup rotation. We may retain the minimum required to comply with legal obligations.
